Rick has been taking care of our cars for over a year now. His prices are way better than the dealers and he can typically service them while I wait, instead of losing my car to the dealer all day. Great service at a great price. Why go anywhere else? We did a 30,000 mile service and on our car and saved $600 over the dealer price.

I recently had to be towed home and had no idea where to take my car, as I'm new to the El Segundo area and a single woman. Any woman knows, unfortunatly, we're prime targets for dishonest mechanics...Thanks to my wonderful neighbors, they told me about Rick. Not only did he fix the hoses that had blown but found a very serious problem and repaired that as well for a VERY REASONABLE Price. He stated that if everything wasnt perfect, to bring it back straight away....I dont think that will be necessary, as my car runs better now, than when I purchased it. I just recently took my 1999 Ford Explorer to Ricks for an oil change. When I got to Ricks I spoke to Rick and let him know my truck needed the oil change, his assistant checked my truck and let Rick know it needed a coolant flush and a transmission flush. Rick actually showed me personally why it needed the services. I had taken my truck to numerous mechanics prior and no mechanic ever personally wants to show you why your vehicle needs the services it needs they just note it down and give you the bill. Rick was very informative and his assistant chris performed all the services my truck required. The work was fast and his time was used efficiently. The best part was the cost, it is affordable and not over priced like other mechanics charges!

Finding a mechanic is like finding the right spouse. It was nice to finally find a spot where the questions you had are answered immediately without hesitation and facts were delivered up front. I went to Pepboy's to find out why my check engine light was on and the kid who checked had no idea what the code meant, what it could possibly relate to, and wanted me to come back to pay for an inspection...yeah right. When I went to Rick's, he told me the code for the Check Engine light, told me what it meant and what needed to be checked. He also showed me where the problems were on my car (much more than expected), how much they were, what needed to be fixed now and what could wait. No pressure to fix things that were unnecessary. Gave me an accurate time as to when the repairs would be done and finished faster than quoted. I know where I'm going from ow on. thanks, RICK! DS

The service was great. I needed my O2 sensor replaced ASAP for my LEXUS. All the parts were available on site and the price is very reasonable. My car runs great now. It feels brand new. I advise everybody who needs a fix on their car to visit RICKS AUTOMOTIVE. Its location is very accesible as well. Two thumbs up!

I was very satisfied with the excellent service that Ricks Automotive provided the day that I had my car towed to his shop.He replaced my radiator,and drive belts at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Ricks Automotive to anyone looking for a good mechanic.

I found Rick's online and called him up and he gave me a quote for replacing my struts which were worn out on my Acura Legend. When I came by he stood by his words and didn't try to "upsell" me on stuff I didn't need. I ended up asking to replace the CV joints, which we talked about and came to a mutual conclusion that it was better just to replace the axles. I priced his quote versus the Dealership and other websites and again he came in at a good price. They even dropped me off at my job. The work was done well, on-time and eh even test drove it to make sure everything drove good. I will probably come here again next time I need some work done. Really honest, good guys who do the work quick and right!
