250 words? Seriously? There's so much more to mention! Okay, as I was saying... Rick gave me a loaner car and I was able to cancel the rental. My car needed a lot of work and I was sure I'd be paying for many days on a rental. However, the work was completed in record time. I was sure it would take a lot longer. Rick is efficient but thorough, and kept me posted throughout the process. He also assured me that as time goes on, he will let me know what's due next, so that I can plan it into my budget. I don't think my car has ever run so well, my MPG is up and I am no longer thinking that I need to buy a new car. Rick's place is clean and he'll treat you to an amazing cup of coffee or tea and make you feel welcome and very comfortable. I highly recommend this facility but you should book your appointment soon, because I have a very big mouth and he is about to get extremely busy! (You can tell him Dana sent you!) :)

I will recommend Rick's Automotive to my friends and family. The Mechanics were very efficient and trustwothy. Pricing was reasonable and guess what? I havefinally found a great place to service my car. Thanks so much for fixing my car and checking to see if it was safe to drive to work.

I just had my brakes done from Rick's and I must say service was very good and fast. They have really good deals on brakes. He also offers shuttle service so you don't have to wait in the shop. I would recommend Rick's auto to anyone that needs their automobile serviced.

Purchased a Yelp Deal I took my '04 Acura TL to Rick to replace the water pump, timing belt, and drive belt after he quoted me $100 cheaper than the next best mechanic I had talked to. He was extremely helpful and did a great job on the belts. He even sent text updates with pictures at the work was being done. To top off his efficient and honest work, he drove me to the nearest Metro station after I dropped off my car and kept his shop open an extra hour and a half when I was late getting down to Lawndale to pick up my car on Saturday. Great mechanic and great guy. Customer service doesn't get better than this...thanks again Rick!

I recently moved to the area looking for a new autoshop to take my Passat. After going to several shops, and getting the run around and astronomical prices I found Rick's. Initially I was skeptical because of my previous experiences but Rick provided me with honest answers in a very professional manner. Not only did Rick provide high quality customer service but he also has very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this shop.

Ricks Auto is where you should be taking your vehicle.....Rick brings his experience to a level that you don't get at other shops. If you have a question about your vehicle you're not sure about, Rick explains it clearly in a manner that you can understand. My own personal experience...I needed breaks on my 2008 Ford Focus and explained to Rick that I was pressed for time (like everyone else in LA). Rick could see my frustration and took compassion. Rick grabbed his best guy Chris and jumped right on it. I went with my gut when I chose this shop, it paid off. Now in most cases another mechanics would have fixed it and charged more money.... But Ricks did not go take that approach...which brings me back to the beginning of my comment...Honesty, quality, commitment and reassurance, 5 Star Service at a very fair price.

I got tired of dealing with shady mechanics and finally made to Rick's. What a relief! Finally a great and honest mechanic who doesn't give you the run-around! I had my timing belt and water pump on my Sequoia replaced for a reasonable price! You can also check the status of your vehicle on their website. I would definitely come back here again and get all cars service here!

Elite '2020 Elite '2020 1 check-in Just had an intake service and brake flush done on Fri. Not only did I get a 15% discount from an email promotion that Rick sent to me, but I also got shuttle service back home and he even picked me up once my car was ready. That made things easier, as I wasn't in the mood to walk a mile and a half each way, when I was overcoming a cold. I look forward to getting more services done by Rick's shop as the time comes. I happened to stop by, on my way to a most distant mechanic. I asked how much to replace my stolen catalytic converter. Rick, the owner, called around a few places, while I waited for a few minutes. Got a quote and the work was completed in just under 2 hours. The price was decent for the work, and Rick was very friendly. Kinda reminds me of my uncle, hehe, although we are prob the same age.
