Hawthorne and Lawndale Auto Repair

Im REALLY picky on ALOT of things especially my car. I found this place here on YELP and noticed that there were very FEW bad reviews and the reviews that were bad were not Ricks fault. Anyways, I came in today based on the good reviews for an oil change (which were majority of his reviews) because I needed an oil change. I was greeted immediately, the waiting room is super clean plus you have access to internet which was a bonus. Rick is a really cool guy and seems to be an 'Honest Mechanic' thus far, I just know that I left with a smile and will definitely bring the 'Bat Mobile' back! lol Thanks Rick!

Rick has kept my car running- it has over 300 thousand miles on it, and is a 2000 pre market Chevy Venture. WOW!

Nice job and was done on time as promised. Did see small leak from the radiator that was repaired after the parade on Saturday. I cleaned it off and not seen the leak since then. I will keep an eye on it to see if I need to bring it back in.

I was very happy with my service, the prices were very reasonable, I can walk there, Rick was very kind and it was nice to see on my computer the part that needed to be repaired. I will be taking my car there when needed.

I would take my car back to Rick's again for all repairs. They provide excellent customer service along with prompt service! With their expertise and knowledge they fixed my car and it passed the smog! Not only did they fix it, they relieved stress from me and too my car back to the same place I took it and got it smog! Rick then called me with the excellent news my car was ready and it passed it's smog check! Awesome place

I would recommend Rick's automotive in a heart best! When I took my car in I explained I just need to fix whatever was needed to pass a smog as it just failed! I also explained how I was unemployed so money is tight! Rick provided excellent service by telling me what the problem was to get it to pass the smog! In addition to other things as he reminded me no pressure and to fix one thing at a time. This place is extremely honest, fast service and provide excellent customer service. Rick new how stressed I was about the smog, going to school and trying to find a job he took it upon himself to send an employee to go get my car smog after the work was completed. So when he called to tell me my car was ready and he also informed me the car passed the smog check! To me that was so awesome customer service! I would refer people here and will bring my car back for all services! They rock

I thought my van was in a dying stage when I brought it in Art;s Auto Service for the first time. My coworker recommended me to this auto shop because of his recent experience. I thought it was a transmission problem, but when Rick loioked at it he said, it needed only to be tuned up and after he was done with the work, I drove the car and it was working smoothly. The reason why I am writing this is for people to know that Art;s Auto Service is the kind of autoshop that you would not regret going to if you have car problems. They are honest, know what they are doing and most importantly, they are not going to rip you off, I would recommend this auto service to anybody and I would return again and again....
