I've been taking my used cars to Rick for several years now. Always reasonable prices, straightforward discussion on what needs to be done and the pricing, etc. In addition to my cars, we took my son's prospective first used car purchase to Rick for a quick review and his notes were valuable in that the used car dealership implemented all his recommended additional fixes. Also sent my wife's girlfriend to this shop when she wanted a look at her car and a recommendation of whether to spend money on repairs or just get another car. All good!

Rick's is definitely the place to go if you need something corrected that the dealer needs to do but you don't want to pay dealer prices. Rick is very technical savy and also knows how to make those auto computers tell them what needs to be fixed. Definitely a great place to know about! I was pleased with service. Rick understood I had limited budget and didn't make me feel like if I didn't get everything done right then my car would blow up. He took care of the issue that would get me mobile again. I still need work done and he provided an in depth estimate for me. He even hooked me up by giving me a ride to and from his shop.

It is a very comforting feeling to know and trust your mechanic. I have been going to Rick for over 2 years now for routine service and maintenance on 2 separate cars (5 total if you include my whole family). The first was a 2005 Mazda 3, and the second a 1998 Toyota 4Runner. I have had them do everything from oil changes, to shock changes and upgrades, replacing a/c compressors, fuel injector/ brake fluid flushes etc. I recently blew a spark-plug, which caused my engine to make a terrible back-firing noise. I had it towed to Rick's to have him asses the damage, and to my surprise he and Jack had found a way to fix it for under $300. That might not sound like a great deal, but any other shop would have most likely had to take the whole block apart which would have cost $1100 in labor easy (plus the price of parts). Point is these guys consistently save me money and are a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to maintaining the integrity and safety of your vehicle. They are also great at discovering and fixing minor problems before they become major issues. I highly recommend them.
